The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it truly is alarmed in regards to the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company point produced for intervention encounters a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the office to attend sassa to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
